aniise Anti-Aging Face Oil with Apricot & Avocado
Usually, when I’m testing out skincare, I like to give it a full month before I share my thoughts. However, after noticing a change in my skin after using the aniise Anti-Aging Face Oil with Apricot & Avocado, $41, for only a week, I knew I couldn’t wait any longer.
Now while I can’t say I’ve seen its anti-aging effects yet, there
is a difference in the texture of my skin. It feels softer and more moisturized
every time I use the oil. Even the next day, my skin feels as smooth as a baby’s
butt, as soft as silk, and all the other clichés.
Before I share more information on their anti-aging facial oil, I thought I would share a little about the brand. Although this is the first time I’ve tried anything from aniise, I’m already a fan of their philosophy, “Inner Confidence, Outer Glow”. Achieving that natural glow also looks better when it comes from confidence.
Aniise uses essential oils, botanicals, herbs, and natural vitamins to create its unisex and ageless products. They are also made in the US and are cruelty-free (PETA certified). Additionally, the brand doesn’t use alcohol, acids, parabens, or other harmful ingredients. In essence, aniise considers themselves to be a health food brand for your skin. I, for one, like that idea.

After learning more about the brand, it’s plain to see how
their anti-aging facial oil embodies their philosophies. It gives my skin a
nice glow and feels like health food in a dropper bottle.
There are so many amazing ingredients in this lightweight oil. First up is avocado oil, whose antioxidant-rich properties help to moisturize and strength the skin. Then we have apricot oil, which helps to protect skin from impurities and environmental stressors.
The anti-aging face oil is also formulated with aloe vera extract, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, grape seed extract, sesame oil, and essential oils. This combination is designed to soften skin, and improve the look of wrinkles, while also giving you that nice healthy glow.
Now I know there is a lot of controversy about using essential oils in skincare, as many people have sensitivities. However, since they are listed at the bottom of the ingredient list, I don’t think this should be an issue. I have extremely sensitive skin and haven’t had a reaction to any of the ingredients in this product.
Regardless, if you are sensitive to mint, ginger, eucalyptus, comfrey, rosemary, lavender, chamomile, or citrus oil, you may want to talk to your dermatologist before using the aniise Anti-aging Face Oil.
In addition to using the oil on my face, I also like that I can apply it to my hair, cuticles or any other dry patches. While I haven’t used it on my hair, I can say that it has helped ease some of the dry patches on my hands and cuticles. I’m getting ready to move, which mean lots of packing so my skin needs all the help it can get right now.
Overall: The aniise Anti-Aging Face Oil is worth the investment. It really is like health food for your skin, and improve and protect your skin’s moisture barrier. I highly recommend adding it to your skincare routine.
