Pumpkin Skincare with Skin Actives!
Fall is here and so is Pumpkin Spice everything! But did you know that
Pumpkin is naturally rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins A & C? Also zinc, a mineral that aids in the healing process to rebuild the skin’s elasticity–something we women over 40 are losing daily.
Skin Actives Pumpkin Enzyme Exfoliant $12.99 provides soothing moisture while removing dead skin cells. The powerful pumpkin enzyme works to dissolve dead skin cells, stimulate cell turnover and improve skin’s tone and texture. The pumpkin bioferment leaves even sensitive skin feeling smooth and soft.
Simply apply to the face once a week after cleansing. Leave on for 3-10 minutes, keeping away from the eyes. Remove using a mild cleanser and warm water.
My skin is used to chemical exfoliants and therefore can tolerate strong concentrates. I left this on for 10 minutes and experienced no tingle or irritation, just a little tightness. This clear gel has no fragrance and is very light. It’s also very gentle… maybe too gentle for my skin. If however, you have sensitive skin or are new to exfoliation, this would perfect to add to your routine.
Skin Actives Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Mask $18.99. Pumpkin Spice Mask will be available through the fall and winter holiday season to provide you with smooth, clear skin. This mask is a triple-threat of skin benefits:
•Enzymes and microdermabrasion crystals help exfoliate dry skin.
•Kaolin clay helps keep pores clear.
•Soothing oat and tumeric calm the skin.
Oh, and it smells like pumpkin spice! Though you can feel them when you apply the mask, it contains very fine microdermabrasion beads to give a good scrub when you take it off.
Apply to the face once a week after cleansing. Leave on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, using the to gently scrub in a circular motion.
Water, Kaolin, Propanediol, Glycerin, Alumina, Beta Glucan, (Oat), Caprylic Capric Triglyceride, Polyacrylamide (&) C13-14 Isoparaffin (&) Laureth-7, Magnesium Stearate, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil, Lactobacillus/Cucurbito Pepo Ferment Filtrate, Papain, Bromelain, Panthenol, Ubiquinol, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrodemethoxydiferulolymethane, Tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferulolymethane, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance, Calcium Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol (and) Chlorphenesin (and) Caprylyl Glycol.
Great Pumpkin, this mask makes my skin feel amazing! It’s soft, smooth and glowing. With the microbeads, this is stronger than the enzyme exfoliant and works better for my skin. Using once or twice a week, this gives my skin a nice boost. Hurry though, this one is for a limited time only.
As with all exfoliants, make sure to wear sunscreen as they make your skin extra sensitive to the sun.
Bottom Line: Skin Actives pumpkin skincare products work well to exfoliate and reveal glowing skin!
